Margaret Copete joined American Securities in 2020. She is focused on enhancing firmwide recruiting processes for new colleagues and the professional development of existing team members.
Prior to joining American Securities, Margaret was an interim HR Generalist and Director of Recruitment & Development at Centerbridge Partners, where she was responsible for leading recruitment and development initiatives across the firm, including driving on-cycle Associate recruiting, annual performance reviews, career development, and training programs. Previously, Margaret was Global Head of Junior Talent and HR Business Partner at Barclays, where she led global programs to attract, develop, and promote new hires for the firm’s revenue-generating businesses. She held prior senior human resources roles with Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) and Goldman Sachs.
Margaret received a BS in Communication from Cornell University and an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University.
