Joe Jansen
Assistant General Counsel
Joe Jansen joined American Securities in 2015. The general counsel’s office oversees all legal and regulatory matters affecting American Securities and the funds that it manages, including providing legal and advisory support to the investment teams and the portfolio companies in all matters including mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, financing, contract negotiation, risk mitigation and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining American Securities, Joe was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer US LLP in the corporate practice group, where he focused on public and private cross-border mergers and acquisitions and general corporate governance.
Joe received a BA in Government from Hamilton College and a JD from SUNY Buffalo Law School.
