Sunnyside Community Services
We volunteered at Sunnyside Community Services (SCS) is a community-based, not-for-profit social service organization serving more than 18,000 children, youth, adults and seniors in Queens, New York.
One of the many programs offered at SCS includes the Summer Camp for middle school students. American Securities volunteers helped students build Rube Goldberg Machines, which are devices that complete a simple task in indirect, convoluted ways in the style of American cartoonist Rube Goldberg.
